Research Team

The research team at ACE has a strong reputation for high quality work in the areas of policy research and evaluation, specifically in respect to frameworks for implementing energy policy in buildings, eliminating fuel poverty, barriers to implementation and the roles of different stakeholders therein (see our Research Themes).

The team has demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement; primary and secondary data gathering and analysis; energy modelling; identification of lessons learned and best practice, and in synthesising material across the technical, non-technical and different policy interest areas to recommend and enable cross-cutting approaches.

ACE research is primarily based on generating our own proposals and is funded independently and externally. Our work is regularly peer-reviewed and we frequently work in partnership with other institutions and organisations across Europe. We support all facets of ACE's work, both directly and indirectly, and offer external consultancy services.
