Energy Efficiency Information in the Public Sector
Reviewing Energy Efficiency Information Provision in the Public Sector
(Commissioned by DETR (now Defra))
This was a piece of work commissioned as part of the UK Climate Change Programme, to review the ways in which advice and information on energy efficiency is made available to the public sector (non-domestic).The project involved a full appraisal of information provision to all major areas of the public sector with the aim of establishing whether the advice Energy Managers receive is comprehensive, easily available and relevant. In addition the project identified gaps in the current provision of information, and made a series of recommendations for the rationalisation and improvement of information provision. The work was carried out in association with the Institute of Energy and Impetus Consulting.
